Is March a good time to visit Goa?
March brings warmer, stickier afternoons, though the sea stays calm and clear. Shigmo, the Hindu spring festival, fills town streets with float parades and drummers over two weeks. Cashew apples ripen and the first feni distillation of the season begins in the villages. Carnival can fall in early March in some years.
