Is January a good time to visit Goa?
January is the clearest month of the year in Goa. Mornings are fresh, the sea is calm and warm at about 27 °C, and humidity is at its lowest. The Christmas and New Year crowds leave after the first week, and resort rates drop noticeably from about 6 January. It is a good month for Old Goa, the southern mansions and long beach days, and the Feast of the Three Kings is celebrated at Chandor on 6 January.
