Questions travellers ask
Good to know
Is November a good time to visit Kerala?
Rain tapers off through the month and the main season begins. The backwaters are full and calm, the first migratory birds arrive at Kumarakom, and Theyyam performances multiply in Kannur. Beaches come back to life by mid-month. This is our favourite shoulder month: full colour in the landscape, good availability and prices below the Christmas peak.
What is the weather like in Kerala in November?
Kochi 24–31 °C, showers easing. Conditions differ by altitude and coast, so check the forecast for each stop a week before you travel.
Where should we go in Kerala in November?
We suggest Fort Kochi, Alappuzha (Alleppey), Kannur. Late November is the sweet spot for houseboat availability and weather.
