Should I stop in Pushkar between Jaipur and Jodhpur
Yes, if you have not planned a night there. Pushkar is about 2.5 hours from Jaipur and adds about an hour to the journey. Lunch, the ghats and the Brahma temple make a good break. Pushkar lies about 15 km off the highway from Ajmer, so the detour is short. We leave Jaipur after breakfast, spend a couple of hours at the lake, then continue west to arrive in Jodhpur before dark.
